Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Jerry Plemmons, Senior Solar Technician in the foothills of NC. I've been in utility scale solar for a little over 5 years now. Started off as a 3rd party service provider troubleshooting SMA Central inverters, CP-US, K1 and K2's for 3 years. Then got burned out of being on the road away from family. I found a company that needed a Tech II to oversee 3 Apple data sites that had CP-US's and was able to be home every night while doing something that I loved. This position also allowed me to occasionally work on Siemens KACO BP150 and Fronius Symo string inverters. While working on this, I also attended online school at Solairgen School of Solar technology working towards getting my NABCEP certification in O&M. I also have taken numerous Trauma Med classes, First Aid, CPR, AED. As well obtained my certifications in National Electric Code, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, HV Safe Work Practices.
